[Interface Level Measurement] Ultrasonic Interface Level Meter HL2100
It measures the distance in water and liquids by utilizing the propagation of ultrasonic signals in the liquid. It can also measure in opaque liquids.
Ultrasound has the property of reflecting at the boundaries of different media. By emitting ultrasound from a sensor underwater and calculating the time taken for it to reflect and be received at the interface, we can determine the sedimentation state. Since measurements are taken non-contact with the sediment, it is possible to measure the interface of opaque treated water or the interface within deep tanks without lowering the sensor to the target sediment. ■ A wide range of distances from 0.2 to 10 meters can be measured from the sensor emission surface. ■ One unit can measure at two locations. (Standard equipment: one sensor) ■ Because it uses ultrasound, measurements can be taken without the influence of transparency, color, or day/night conditions. ■ The interface is measured based on computational processing that assumes changes in the quality of supernatant water and changes in the concentration of accumulated sludge, so there is no need to change set values or readjust based on the condition of the equipment. ■ Both the transducer and sensor have no moving parts, allowing for stable measurements over long periods.
